The young look of an old skin or a few healthy lifestyle choices
I will give you today a little thought, something that fills me with joy because it is about my childhood.
I used to spend my childhood holidays in a mountain village where people’s life was like 100 years ago. There were about 300 families living in the village. Every family owned a little backyard for growing vegetables for their own use and some land with apple trees and plum trees for the fruits they used to sell at the market. They also owned a cow for milk, a horse for transportation, some poultry for eggs and meat and a few sheep.
There were tourists from all over the world who arrived to my grandparents’ village. They were surprised about the peasants’ peaceful but hardworking lifestyle. I remember a lady from a big city asking my grandmother about the face lotion that she might have been used in order to have such a young and shiny skin. My grandmother was 70 years old at that time and she had never ever used any beauty product for her face. It was the first time that I looked very carefully at her face and discovered that she had very few wrinkles.
It was all about the villagers’ lifestyle: many hours spent around the house, in the fresh air, but most of all their diet. They have only cooked aliments that came from their yards, full of vitamins, never technologically processed. The healthy lifestyle makes them look younger than they actually were without even being aware.
What’s the conclusion? The shape my grand-mother was in, till the last days of her life, gave me the certitude, more than any book I read, that a good diet, full of vitamins, is very important for us to feel good and to look great.

I’m sure about the benefits of vitamins over your hair, skin and nails. I’d like to know what the most important vitamin for hair is.
