Today I tried to style my own hair and well, I was really surprised of results. I didn’t expect to go so well but, honestly, I was very patient, too.

I read a lot of magazines about styling short hair by yourself: firstly you should correctly dry your hair, secondly you should use the appropriate hair products and the most important – take your time when styling.

Corrine, my friend, is going to travel to Canada. She has never been there before. She and her boyfriend are going to rent a house trailer for a month. It is a challenge to live for a month in such a tiny “apartment” with somebody else, but she is very confident that everything is going to be all right. I met my good friend Joanne the other day. We were best friends in secondary school. Now we don’t meet very often because we live in different cities. She reminded me this conversation we had more then 10 years ago. As all the girls at that age, we were very concerned about fashion, trends and hair styles. Back then she used to wear her hair at the shoulder line and I was wearing an even shorter hair. We both wanted to try a very, very short haircut but, for no specific reason, we didn’t dare to make that move. We both did the promise that we’ll try a very short haircut at the age of 30. In spite of the promise, we tried the new look long before we turned 30 years old. Yes, we were curios about this. It was a fantastic experience for both of us.
